Happy Friday, everyone! I don’t know about you, but this week seemed to fly by. It’s been a busy week with packing and getting ready for our move to Milwaukee! Packing, cleaning, renovations, getting furniture together… it’s an exciting (and hectic) time. And Friday means… my Friday Favorites!
1. Running Routine
As my loyal readers now, I love to run. I was never in cross country or track in high school, but I always ran for fun. It’s a way to relieve stress, clear your mind and feel good. Running is always a favorite of mine. Lately, I have been so busy with work, packing, cleaning and getting ready for grad school and the big move that I haven’t had time to run (or i’ve just been too tired). Today, I changed that and ran on the lake walk around Lake Geneva. My half marathon is in September, so I need to keep up my training! I GOT this!
2. New Read
NEW BOOK ALERT! I was walking in Target and this book caught my eye. I’ve heard of Susan Mallery and how she has been a #1 New York Times Bestselling Author, so clearly I knew that was a good sign! Daughters Of The Bride is a romance novel (my favorite kind) about a mother’s wedding. It has love, joy, drama and secrets. It sounds like the perfect book to read with a cup of coffee and a cozy blanket. I can’t wait to start it today. I’ll let you know what I think of it!
3. Aloha Dreaming
In January, my parents, Nic and I went to Maui for two weeks. It was beautiful, amazing and a dream. I’ve been there before, and I always feel relaxed and rejuvenated. This vacation was one for the books. It was relaxing, fun, exciting and adventurous with walks on the beach, whale watching, happy hours, snorkeling in the ocean, swimming by turtles… I could go on and on. Today, I am Aloha Dreaming. We are already planning our next vacation in two years. It will be a great time to go since I will almost be done with graduate school. It’s funny to think considering I haven’t even started yet. But, dreaming and planning is never a bad thing. 🙂
4. Milwaukee planning
Milwaukee, we’re coming for ya! As you know, I will be attending grad school in Milwaukee and I am so excited! Nic went to college in Milwaukee, so he knows the ins and outs of the city. I have been already been planning fun day dates we can take together when we move to our new place. Stay tuned!
What are your Friday Favorites? Let me know. I would love to hear from you!
