It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Thanksgiving is next week and then it’s Christmas! I can’t believe it! If you haven’t already, check out my blog on Easy Thanksgiving Appetizers for your feast day.
I don’t know about you, but I’m all about unique gift ideas. This year, I’m looking for easy and unique stocking stuffer and gift ideas. So far, I have found some ideas that are sure to bring holiday cheer and smiles. Although many people don’t like to talk about Christmas until Thanksgiving is over, I think it’s never too early to start coming up with ideas.
I’ve seen these for years and have always wanted to make them. They are quick, easy and practical. Simply put all ingredients into a jar for a sweet treat and label it with a note and the directions (generally you need to add milk or eggs on your own). However, the majority of the ingredients are in the jar and it’s a cute gift to give to anyone. One particular recipe below is by Donuts, Dresses and Dirt for cookies. However, if you have a special recipe you love, you can put that in the jar and make it your own!
Peppermint Foot Scrub
This is so cool. I LOVE peppermint. Peppermint tea, peppermint oil, peppermint chocolate… you name it! I’ve never thought of making a foot scrub until I came across Suburban Simplicity. I initially thought it would be pretty difficult to make a foot scrub, but it turns out it isn’t. The ingredients include powdered milk, epsom salt, loose peppermint tea or essential oil and a 1/2 pint size jar. It’s a wonderful idea and an easy recipe! Check it out.
Hot Cocoa Ornament Mix
Hot cocoa and ornaments, how cute! This idea is so easy and adorable. Sprinkle Some Fun lays out the ingredients and directions for this DIY gift. I love this idea because it’s cute and practical. It’s a very personal gift that shows thought and care.
I can’t wait to try these this year! Do you have DIY gift ideas that you like or want to try? Tell me about them, I’m always up for more ideas!
