Cocktail Cruise + City Views

Happy Friday! I hope you all had a great week and are ready for the weekend! I don’t know about you, but I am ALWAYS ready for the weekend. Who’s with me?!

Yesterday, my friend Kayley and I decided to go on a happy hour cruise with the Milwaukee Boat Line– and what a wonderful idea that was. The cruise was 90 minutes and it was absolutely AMAZING. (After the cruise, I told Nic we HAD to add this cruise to our bucket list of things to do together this summer (we added going to a movie in the park the other day, too) and he was beyond excited.

The cruise took us down the lake and we got a chance to see all of the beautiful buildings we always see from the road – and boy, was it a sight. I always love exploring cities and finding hidden treasures, and this cruise definitely was one of those treasures. Pretty much everyone sitting on their balconies waved at our boat and everyone on our boat waved back with smiles – how rare is that? I loved it. After we went down the river, we went onto the lake where we got to see even more city views. I’ve always loved this city and yesterday just gave me more reasons to love it. The city views were spectacular and the view from the boat made it even more memorable.

I’m so happy we took the time out of our busy day to go on this beautiful cruise. There are always treasures everywhere you go – it’s just up to you to find them.

Have a great day, everyone!
