The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Hi, everyone! How was your Thanksgiving? It’s been about two weeks since I last posted – which is too long, I know. I’m finishing up my second to last semester of graduate school, and to say I’m excited is an understatement. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’ve enjoyed every second of it. To think I’ll be graduating in May is wild! Where has the time gone?

Well, it’s officially the most wonderful time of the year (are you singing that when you read it?). December is only a FEW DAYS AWAY and I am SO READY FOR CHRISTMAS. As you all know, it is my favorite time of the year and I soak in every jolly moment of it.

This Friday, Nic and I are going to a tree lighting downtown – which includes chestnuts roasting on an open fire, reindeer, christmas drinks and fireworks. I’m so excited to go, and think it’s so important to take time for the sweet little moments in life, like this.

We are all so busy. I get it. But it’s so important to make time for the little moments in life, like a christmas tree lighting or even a stroll downtown to look at holiday lights and decorations. One (of the many) things I love about Nic and I is that we make it a point to make time for the little things in life, which turn out to be big things in the end.

This holiday season, I’ve already made it a goal to make time for little moments that will create sweet and long lasting memories. Whether it’s going to a tree lighting, baking cookies together, watching movies or cozying up on the couch with some hot chocolate – we’ll be doing it all. Life is about making memories and enjoying every minute we are given.

Do you have any holiday plans coming up?

Talk soon!

  1. Presents are nice, but memories of those magic moments cannot be taken away by anyone and they will stay with you your entire life. They are priceless.
    Proud of you!!!
