It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged, and I really REALLY don’t like that. Since I finished graduate school, there have been a number of changes (all good) and it’s just taking some time to get used to my new schedule and routine. I’m sure you all can relate to that.
I’m not going to lie, I am not and have never been a fan of change. However, change is good and we all have to embrace it instead of fear it. Now that I finished grad school, I am working at a marketing/ad agency as a content & social media strategist and I am absolutely loving it. It’s a new pace and new routine, and I am enjoying every moment.
I have to say, graduating from grad school was wonderful and sad and scary all wrapped in one. I’ve been in school for as long as I can remember, so finishing that chapter of my life was difficult. One day, you’re a student, the next you’re immersed into the real world. And let me tell ya, I LOVE school. But we all need to grow and move onto the next journey, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t many emotions involved along the way.
The changes I’ve experienced since graduating have all been wonderful and I feel so fortunate for all the opportunities that have come my way. I’m getting back on my consistent blogging train, so don’t you worry about that! I was just talking to Nic last night about how it’s been too long since I blogged, and he said well what are you waiting for? It’s true. There is no time like the present to do the things you love. So side note – if you’ve been wanting to do something but keep pushing it off, take this as your sign to just go and do it. 🙂
I have some really exciting things planned for July and I can’t wait to share them with you – including a new series that I want YOU to be part of. Seriously, I have a whole list of ideas. Stay tuned, my friends.
I’ll talk to you soon!
