Happy Friday, friends! I am back on the blogging train, and am bringing back Friday Favorites! Every Friday, I will highlight some of my favorite things from the week…. books, food, movies, quotes, thoughts… who knows! The possibilities are endless.
The Country
Ok, the country is my favorite. Don’t get me wrong, the city is beautiful too, but there is something about the country you can’t beat. The starry night skies, the birds chirping, the quiet morning and evening walks, sunsets over the lake, full trees blowing in the wind, familiar faces… the country is full simple joys around every corner, and it makes my heart so happy.
Bike Riding
Well, I’m officially obsessed with bike riding. It’s been my favorite form of exercise during quarantine (next to walking). I’ve been doing about 10 miles a day, and it feels great. I’m planning to do a big bike ride in the next few weeks, maybe a 60 miler (we’ll see). When I did my first bike ride of the year this year, I was out of breath pretty much right away. It’s pretty amazing to see hard work and determination pay off… I love being able to see my progress with each ride. Great life lesson, don’t ya think? ALSO. Nic got me a pretty awesome helmet from thousand. Not to brag, but I love it. A lot. I mean… look at it.

Verity by Colleen Hoover
HOLY MOLEY. This book is SO GOOD I CAN’T PUT IT DOWN. Thriller, romance, mystery… this is my kind of book. I’ll write a full review when I’m done with it! But, simply put, this book is excellent.

Ray LaMontagne
Lately, Ray LaMontagne radio has been my jam and go-to on Spotify. I highly recommend.
Christmas in July
Incase you missed it… I reviewed Basic Invite’s Christmas cards, and it made me feel OH so jolly. I was THRILLED to do a Christmas photo shoot and pretend for a hot second is was Christmas time. But for real, check out their stationary. I’m a huge fan.
