• Goals, Gratitude and Grad School

HI! Wow. It’s been over a month. I’ve kind of gone into hermit mode, but that’s because I was feverishly working on my Master’s Project… which I am happy to say I officially handed in yesterday! WOOOHOOO! I started my project in May of 2017. My project was a 244 page content marketing strategy eBook for a fellowship I have been working at during grad school, and to say I’m proud of it is a major understatement. The process of working on my Master’s Project really showed me that anything is possible when you give it your all. Throughout the process, I cried many times, had many knots in my…

  • Friday Favorites

Happy (end of the day) Friday, everyone! Today was such a full day and I didn’t have time to write my weekly Friday Favorites blog in the morning. However, that is no excuse! I could not leave you all without my weekly blog. Here are my (late) Friday Favorites! 11.54 Ok, I have to brag because you all know how much I love running. You all also know how my training has been all over the place lately. As you read yesterday, I wanted to run 9 miles to train for my half marathon. Well, today I ended up running 11.54 miles. THAT’S RIGHT! I was so beyond proud of myself because…

  • Make It A September To Remember

Happy September! Can you believe it’s already a new month? I always love the beginning of a new month. It always feels like a fresh start with new goals and adventures. Why limit resolutions to a year when you can have monthly resolutions?! As you could have guessed, fall is my FAVORITE season and it’s 21 days away (who’s counting though). I’ve been pretty busy on Pinterest lately, finding fall pins and getting so many ideas for the crisp, cool weather.  Leaves are already changing colors and I am beyond excited. September isn’t only a month to remember because fall is arriving, but there are a few other reasons. First, it’s half marathon…

  • Change Is Scary (And That’s Ok)

Talk about a week filled with many emotions and A LOT of change, good change that is. This week, we moved into our new place and I had graduate school orientation. While this was all incredibly exciting, it was also very hard. I don’t like change, and change is hard for me. When I first started undergrad, I cried for what seemed like the whole semester because I missed my parents and home SO much. I was at a new school, new city and my parents weren’t right next me. It was scary and sad, but guess what? It was OK. I was  OK and I grew and became a stronger individual. And you know what?…

  • Friday Favorites

Happy Friday, everyone! This Friday Favorites is short, but I hope you all like just as much. 1. Renovations!  I can’t believe it’s already time for renovations and painting in our new condo! Nic and I are moving in in August, and there is a lot of work to be done. Yesterday was the first time I saw the condo at night, and the view of the city lights was incredible. The condo overlooks the city on the right and the lake on the left. I can already picture having a cup of coffee with Nic in the morning watching the sunrise. And, of course, a glass or wine or beer at…
